    Session 1

    Meet Claude Code & Get Set Up

    We start from zero. You'll get Claude Code installed, understand the basics of how it works, and see your first useful outputs — without needing to "be technical."

    • Step-by-step setup of your environment
    • Just-enough-to-feel-safe tour of the terminal
    • Your first real "conversations" with Claude Code in the editor
    • How to give clear, structured instructions so it can help you

    Your Assignment

    Finish setup on your own machine and complete a short set of guided tasks with Claude Code so you come into Session 2 ready to build.

    Session 2

    Directing Claude Code: From Idea to Working Workflow

    This is where it clicks. We'll go from "I want this to happen" to a real, working mini-tool using Claude Code — together, step by step. You'll receive a short prompt fundamentals guide before this session to help you hit the ground running.

    What We Cover

    • Choosing a simple but meaningful workflow (newsletter helper, research assistant, content helper, etc.)
    • How to describe what you want in a way Claude Code can act on
    • The feedback loop: review, refine, and iterate without getting overwhelmed
    • Handling the "uh oh" moments — when code doesn't work the first time
    • What's realistic (and what isn't) for non-technical users

    Your Assignment

    Direct Claude Code to build your own small project using the same process — something you'll actually use, not just a demo.

    Session 3

    Your AI Workflow: Make It Repeatable

    Now we zoom out. You'll connect what we've done into a simple, repeatable workflow you can run again and again — and expand later.

    • Turning your one-off project into a reusable workflow
    • How to organize prompts, files, and instructions so you're not starting from scratch each time
    • A plain-English overview of concepts like MCP, RAG, and agents — and when they might matter to you next
    • Best practices and common pitfalls for working with AI tools over time
    • A simple roadmap for your next 30–60 days with Claude Code

    Map out your personal AI workflow plan: what you'll use Claude Code for, how often, and where it fits into your current tools and habits.
